Apply for a property

Applying with MyPad is simple. Every adult who'll be living at the property needs to complete their own application.

Application procedure

A tenancy will be offered to you subject to contract and the following conditions:

  • A fully completed application form has been submitted
  • The landlord has accepted the offer, subject to references
  • A £50 holding deposit has been paid to reserve the property
  • A satisfactory credit search has been carried out by an independent credit referencing agency (details on request)
  • Satisfactory references have been obtained

£50 holding deposit: if your application is successful, it’s refunded against your first rent payment when you move in. It won’t be returned if you provide false or misleading information, fail a Right to Rent check, withdraw your application, or fail to take all reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement within the agreed timescale.

You may be asked to provide a guarantor in some cases.

The data we collect is stored on systems owned by our referencing partner and systems run by My Pad Accommodation Limited, on secure servers. Transmission of information over the internet is never completely secure, but once we receive your information we use all necessary procedures and security measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or amendment.
